I had a great engagement shoot with Amy & Collin yesterday in NoDa. Amy said they would be horribly awkward and apologized before hand – they weren’t at all! I’m not sure if I eased their nerves, but they were no where near deer-in-the-headlights, as I was made to believe. ;D
They wanted alternative, non-traditional shots out of their e-session and I hope I’ve delivered something close. There are definitely traditional engagement shots in here (can’t entirely get away from them), but I think we did a good job taking advantage of a unique setting.
I really wanted to get shots of them interacting with each other. Even if they were nervous with me lurking around, they’re clearly at ease and very loving with each other.
Let me know if you think we hit the mark! And feel free to share. Sharing is caring!
I’m very excited to get the chance to shoot Amy and Collin’s wedding in October! It’s going to be on a mountain top in Asheville, North Carolina. With the fall trees, Amy’s brilliant hair (she’s like a Rosetti beauty!) and the natural surroundings we’re bound to get some unbelievable shots.
I was also told that the property has a live wolf! Guess who’s going to have a wedding portrait with a white wolf?!?!
